The Great Maze Challenge is a fun team or individual sport whereby children and adults of all ages will use a Mobile App with augmented reality capability to find as many clues as possible hidden within one of our mazes, or within the Village of Lower Crackpot and Embassy Gardens. The video will promote our Great Maze Challenge with people enjoying themselves using mobile phones and/or tablets, gathering points and posting them to social media channels etc. We don’t need to see screen shots of the App being used, just implied an App is being used. We’re still developing it anyway. You don’t need to be here at Tasmazia to film this – use your imagination :)
The contest is open to anyone in any country who is 18 years of age and over. If entering as a group, please nominate one person to be the contact person and accept the prize.
Schools groups are also invited to enter, where the teacher responsible registers in their school name. In this case, should a school group win the competition, the prize will be awarded to the school, not an individual.
You must own full copyright of all images used in your video and have permission from all people appearing in your video.
We will supply the backing audio, which must be used in the advert. We will also supply our logo, which must be used as an end slate – holding for at least 3 seconds at the end of the video (see links below).
Upon registering, you will receive the link to our YouTube Playlist where you will share your video entry.

Following the brief above, your completed video must be uploaded to YouTube and shared to our YouTube Playlist no later than midnight (AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 when entries to the competition close. The earlier you get it in, the more user views you could get. Therein, you are invited to share your video entry with as many people as possible through your own social media outlets.
The winner will be decided by the total number of user views and/or likes across both our Facebook AND YouTube channels, with a casting vote by The Laird of Lower Crackpot, Brian Inder, owner of Tasmazia & The Village of Lower Crackpot. His decision will be final.
The winner will be notified via email and on our social media pages on or about Friday December 15, 2017.
By entering this competition you acknowledge that you have met the above requirements regarding copyright and permissions, and also permit Tasmazia to use your video entry in our future advertising without limit.
If a winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted.
The prize will be awarded only upon winner verification and approval by Tasmazia. The winner will be notified by email within 30 days after winning. The winner or selected entrant will then have 30 days to respond with their information. If the winner or selected entrant is unable to be contacted within 30 days after being selected or is ineligible, the prize will be forfeited.
